| A. The University of Southern Mississippi: |
| don Quijote programs, in Barcelona and Salamanca, are approved by the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). USM's international and foreign language programs are nationally recognized for their excellence. Applicants must complete a 3-week course consisting of at least 20 class hours per week (not including activities) in order to earn three hours of academic credit. Taking more hours of class per week will not reduce the time requirements needed to receive academic credit. Through this process 3 - 12 undergraduate credits OR 3 - 9 graduate credits can be earned. |
Students should register with USM for credit prior to their course start date. Credits will NOT be granted to students who register later than their first week of classes. To apply, students should submit transcripts of all previous university work, and a transcript from their Spanish language program to the University of Southern Mississippi. Grades are posted at the end of December, May and August. Decisions regarding specific course number, level and grade will be made by the Department of Foreign Languages at USM. |
